Between 1978 and 1981 seven children were abducted and brutally murdered in a crime that shocked the nation. Susan Lowley & Ian Roberts were convicted and sentenced for life at Dorset Crown court for the murderes dubbed 'The Dorset Drownings'. The initial trial predated forensic testing and there were many unanswered questions. For their part in these heinous crimes, Susan now dead, her husband Ian will never be released. In 2020 Carl Braith was stopped by police in a routine stop during the COVID lockdown. His DNA threw a positive match to DNA on clothing recovered and later forensically tested in this historic case. Carl Braith now stands accused of accessory to Murder in the Dorset Drownings.

6.30pm Doors open
Take your seats in the courtroom before the trial begins, undertake the swearing in process and meet your fellow jurors.
7.00pm Two-course meal served
Get to know your jurors as you tuck into a two course a-la carte meal served to your table all included in the ticket price.
8.00pm The trial
All rise... the trial begins at 8.00pm sharp, have your juror notebook, evidence pack and case materials ready as witnesses take to the stand.
10.30pm Deliberation
After the closing statements youll be invited to retire and consider your verdict. What will you make of the evidence put before you? Innocent or guilty? YOU decide...
11.00pm The Verdict
Each table of 12 forms one jury, each jury will give its own verdict, the overall event verdict will be based on meeting a common 80% similar verdict (threshold) at that event.
The overall verdict on a national level will be published after the experiment ends following over 150 live shows. Details of the original case will also be made available to see how you faired up.
